WELKINLAND's journey began in my hometown with a mission to provide employment opportunities for the wives and mothers whose husbands worked away from home. These women, who were left to care for their families, including elders and children, found a crucial source of income in WELKINLAND. This initiative, born out of the same care and responsibility my father instilled in me, is a source of immense pride.
My father was a tailor in our small remote village, "Kinland," in the 1980s. He was extremely patient and meticulous, ensuring every detail was as good as possible. The villagers would save for an entire year to purchase their family's garments, which they would wear only during the spring festival. My father instilled in me the importance of taking excellent care of these clothes, as it was a source of joy and pride for the children.
This seed of responsibility and attention to detail has become the foundation of WELKINLAND. Inspired by my friend Peter, a Dutch businessman who took over his family's long-standing business, I realized the importance of carrying forward my father's legacy. At WELKINLAND, we meticulously design, sew, and test our products to ensure quality and reliability, helping families save money in the long run.
